Linen Cloth farming in World of Warcraft!

Article by Joachim Van Rossenberg

Linen Cloth

One of the things you’ll have to do (except when you are filthy rich) in World of Warcraft when you are leveling a new profession is farming mats.

Farming linen cloth in WoW can be a pain if you don’t know the best farm places, below I’ve listed some of the best places to go. The mobs will almost instantly (if not instantly) spawn which means you can continue without having to wait.

Hillsbrad Foothills (Horde or high level Alliance)

Two great spots to farm Linen Cloth is The Sludge Fields (1) and Gavin’s Naze (2) in Hillsbard Foothills.

Spot 1 is the best, stand at the spot I show in the video below and AoE the 3 Risen Hillsbrad mobs that spawn. The respawn rate is instant and you’ll never have to move. Unfortunately this spot will phase out when you have completed the quests at the Sludge Fields, go to Spot 2 if that’s the case.

Spot 2 is Gavin’s Naze in Hillsbrad Foothills and is the second best spot. Kill the Stormpike Engineers that are wandering around the vehicles, the respawn rate is high. This spot is for Horde only though.

Westfall (Alliance or high level Horde)

Another great spot to farm Linen Cloth is at Sentinel Hill in Westfall. Start killing the Riverpaw Bandits that are fighting the Sentinel Hill Guards. The respawn rate is instant. This spot is for Alliance or high level Horde players only because there are wandering level 85 Alliance guards around.

World of Warcraft

This section is for those who doesn’t know what World of Warcraft is (is that actually possible?)

World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the fourth released game set in the fantasy Warcraft universe, which was first introduced by Warcraft: Orcs & Humans in 1994. World of Warcraft takes place within the Warcraft world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard’s previous Warcraft release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001. The game was released on November 23, 2004, on the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise.

The first expansion set of the game, The Burning Crusade, was released on January 16, 2007. The second expansion set, Wrath of the Lich King, was released on November 13, 2008. The third expansion set, Cataclysm, was released on December 7, 2010. At BlizzCon in October 2010, lead producer J. Allen Brack announced that there would be a fourth expansion set for the game, though the developers did not yet know what it would be about.

With 11.1 million subscribers as of June 2011, World of Warcraft is currently the world’s most-subscribed MMORPG, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most popular MMORPG by subscribers.

WoW Warlock Beginner Guide

Thanks for reading my World of Warcraft Warlock guide. Before we begin I just want to mention that this is a beginner’s Warlock guide, and it is only a brief overview for new Warlock players. I’m not an expert when it comes to Warlock in World of Warcraft, since I only have a level 34 Warlock twink myself. All advices below are gathering from my personal knowledge as well as my high level Warlock friends. So, get what you can out of this WoW guide, and I hope it will help you.

Warlock Overview

Warlocks are dark mages that uses dark magic and spells. Personally I’m not a big fan of caster classes in World of Warcraft, and that’s why I don’t have a high level Warlock. But I have to admit that out of all the caster classes Warlock is definitely one of my favorite due to their ability to summon minions. Read more
