Graphics: Probably the best-looking DS game. The levels are bright, colourful and aren't blury like most DS games.

Sound: Nice bubbly music with basic Mario sound-effects.

Gameplay:So simple and easy to play

Long-Lasting: 9 Worlds packed with levels, loads of mini-games and lots of re-playability.

I think that the majority of gamers, whether old or new, are aware of the classic masterpiece, Mario Bros. But whilst the original Mario bros series was one of the most addictive, memorable selection of games in history, is it really necessary to meddle by releasing a new, updated one?
Turns out yes... yes it is.

When playing new Mario bros, it's apparent that whilst tons of new little features have been added, it's essentially a 3D homage to the original games. The new features are great fun however, with plenty of new items (the massive mushroom rules!), some new enemies, wireless multiplayer and a decent amount of mini-games to play around with (both in single and multiplayer).
Story-wise, they've definitely kept it old school: Peach gets kidnapped, you go after her. That's it. That's all it needs to be.

So essentially, the gameplay is exactly the same as older games. It's a side scrolling platformer where you've got to fight your way through worlds by completing a number of stages. The stages range from 30 seconds to around two minutes, and whilst that may not sound like much, there are over 50 stages, each one different in their own little way.

The graphics are great, mixing the original 2D visuals with 3D characters. Also, Mario's movements have changed a little. Various little animations, such as the triple jump from Mario 64, and jumping up walls from Super Mario Sunshine have been integrated, which adds just that little extra depth to levels, allowing for a variety of new platforming possibilities.

So is it worth getting? Yup. There's no reason not to really. It's a fun, addictive game. A retro remake done correctly! Which is a rare and wonderful thing!
The single player's lengthy, and there's definitely replay value... whether it's because you want to unlock the different routes through the worlds by collecting Star Coins, or play the mini-games, or cause you're bored, there are plenty of reasons why you'll be playing this game for quite awhile.

The Good: Addictive and fun - Doesn't stray from the Mario formula, but adds lots of new features - Plenty to do!

The Bad: If you don't like the original games, then you wouldn't like this.

VERDICT: The Mario Bro's return with an essential DS game.

The game is interesting, the basic operations were easy to learn about, there are different levels, different cars to choose from and different trucks you can race on. It is little bit hard to stop or to reverse.

A really great gaming series that has finally become available on PSP. Although not for the hard-core street racer, the game is good for those who want a more realistic idea of driving. A bonus that I found, and didn't realise at the time of buying, is that availability to drive on rally courses. This is something I have only had on games designed purely for rallying and is a nice extra. The only main issue is, like on a lot of (if not all) Gran Turismo games: the lack of damage. Apart from this it is a great racing game for those who really do like the racing.

If you like the offline career mode of any game, don't buy this, there isn't one. The license tests might keep you occupied for a while though, and any cars you win can be transferred to GT5 (although you can only use them in arcade mode). Good physics though, despite the lack of damage.

Overall, a little too shallow for my liking - it never really held my interest.

I tried this mouse and whilst the number of buttons ought to have been a great, I found them almost unusable. The reason is due to the fact the buttons are so softly sprung they offer almost no resistance, the result is that when using the side thumb buttons I end up mashing the button/s before I can distinguish which button I'm touching.

An additional issue is one previously mentioned here, picking up the mouse. I generally run my mouse with a pretty high sensitivity, which means I rarely have to re-centre my mouse but due to the positioning of the side thumb buttons there isn't any easy place to grip the mouse and pick it up.

The software that comes with the mouse is quite comprehensive but felt clunky and on the whole unnecessary given you can configure all the non-standard buttons from within the game [the only feature that requires the additional software is to change the mouse glow colour/intensity/pulse.

Having tried the mouse I came to the conclusion that it wasn't the mouse for me and instead went for the Logitech G700

I got this mouse a little while after I realised how much I would be playing WoW. I love it. It looks good and is easy to work with. I had never played games much before I got my WoW addiction and still found this easy to set up. As for the size, apparently it is huge, but I have big hands (especially for a girl) and I find it perfect. If you are a girl with normal girl hands, or a man with unusually small hands you may struggle, but for the looks alone it's worth getting used to! It breathes!

When searching for a new mouse I came across this one from SteelSeries, what drew me to this mouse other than the fact it had a wide array of buttons to program for Wow is its size. I looked at a multitude of mice from Razer and others but one thing that they all had in common was they were rather small. As an average sized guy I have a pretty large hands and this mouse although it looks pretty large, fits perfectly in your hand.

Almost all of the buttons are placed appropriately meaning they are comfortable to use regardless of your setup. The in game interface is a lot better than the previous Wow gaming mouse from Steelseries. You can bind the buttons to your hotkeys with ease and change them on the fly through the in game options. In my case I play a mage and use the buttons on the mouse for miscellaneous spells such as blink and food summons, as well as a few key abilities like Counterspell. It's entirely up to you though what you use the buttons for but beware not all the buttons work outside of Wow so if you plan on using it for other games not all the buttons are usable.

The customization carries over outside of the game through the specific software you can download for the mouse, it allows you to adjust your dpi, button config and change the colour and glow setting of the mouse. This is another aspect I love about the mouse, it's overall look. Designed to resemble the bringing of the Cataclysm Deathwing it has a burnt armour kinda look to it and you can choose which colour and how bright/fast it glows.

Overall this is a very smooth and customizable mouse for people who love Wow or those who just want a bigger heavier mouse for gaming or just general use should defiantly give this mouse a look.

A bit of a disappointment really. The contract is not great (needs to be much sharper) - the adjustable contrast doesn't seem to make any difference. I have only started using it and found that the most difficult level was not really that difficult. I'll try it for a few more days, but it is most likely to end up in the bin.

The best LCD sudoku game, 27 Mar 2009

this is a wonderful LCD sudoku game, got it for my birthday 6 months ago, and it goes everywhere with me!
Its easy to use, the light lets me play in whatever light situation.
The fact that you can enter puzzles from newspapers is also a big plus.
Overall I rate this product very highly, it has numerous skill levels to test anyone, from beginners to Sudoku masters.
