  1. Just a quick lil review here, nothing special. If you purchase a gamecube controller make sure it’s official, I was being rather scottish and decided to get the cheaper non-official ones to save a few bob. Both controllers broke after 1 week. Official stuff is always the best, don’t make the same mistake I did and purchase a cheap imitation. Get the real thing!

It’s well worth kitting your gamecube out with 4 of these, they’re a cheaper alternative to the wavebird (Why not get yourself one of those and let your friends use these ones?).

I’ve always felt Nintendo make the best controllers, I was reluctant to leaving the N64 controller behind when moving up a generation to the gamecube, but I needn’t have worried. The ergonomics have fit me perfectly and everything’s easy to get hold of. Like the Xbox controller, it doesn’t feel like it may fall apart either, yet it isn’t as bulky.

But the main reason to get these is because the Gamecube is much better experienced in multiplayer, with Super Smash Bros. Meelee being my personal highlight. You simply need these controllers to experience completley the world of the gamecube, and with official ones now being at lower prices, you can buy them and not have your friends argue that they lost because they had “the dodgy Logic 3 controller”.

  3. It is attached to such a marvelous that it is hard to believe that such a bad control is used to play it with. At first glance it looks quite nice nothing wrong with the look of it, but after some hard gaming hours you soon become frustrated with it. First of all the analogue and button c which is a small analogue have a bad feel to them and are incredibly unresponsive. The rest of the buttons are less than smooth and are badly placed on the pad especially button z which can be a nightmare to press sometimes due to the location. don’t get me wrong i don’t think the controller will halt your enjoyment of top games but it is a very bad one as controllers go im afraid.

Although this controller is better than the PS2s and Xboxs, apart from the PS2s analogue sticks which are much better, the Wavebird is defintitly a better choice. The lack of wires give you ultimate freedom, and the batteries last for ages. Don’t kid yourself with wires; GET A WAVEBIRD!

This listing clearly shows an official nintendo gamecube controller. However the controller I was sent was a substitute and not the official controller I expected – Beware!
