After playing Lego star wars (all 3) for hours and hours on end and completing 100%, i chose to buy lego indiana jones, it looked pretty good. Thats where it ended though.
The game lacked good levels, characters, and its own ’style’ which lego batman has. The levels were dull and very samey, throughout all three storylines. The characters had very few waepon variations. either a simple gun, hand combat or whip (1 or 2 characters)
I think the reason why the game failed (in my eyes anyway) was that it was too real. Star wars had the whole force and lightsaber action, and lego batman had the suits and technology aspects. Dont get me wrong, the indiana jones films are amazing. but somewhere along the lines the game isnt quite the same.
The first levels I played were the temple of Doom levels, thinking, ah they are going to be epic! most of the good bits were cut-scenes or rushed, or skipped entirely!
overall a very poor game, the only reason why i gave it 2 stars not 1, is because the motorcylce level was good, first time round, after that it was tedious, unlike the flying levels in star wars, which were epic after the tenth time round

We now have three of the lego saga games, all of them are 1st class and I recommend them to anyone, brilliant.

Fun to play! And at the same time one has fun playing, one develops reflexes and muscle-brain coordination! I highly recommend this game!!

Another very good game from the Lego team. Excellent graphics and game play, lots of levels, characters movements are fun (especially when swimming). Not as good as Lego Star Wars, on a par with Lego Batman but all are really good value for money and I would highly recommend it and look forward to the next production.
