Mario smash football is one of the best Mario games yet,you can do all kinds of cool things like take super strikes, headbut players into the electric panels and be all the Mario players in creation.

I love this game soooo much. It’s like Ice-Hockey meets Football. The game is absolutley mental, shells, banana skins, electrified fences, the ability to take out your oponents and the occasional visit from a giant bowser make the game hard to follow at first, but then once you’ve grasped the rapid gameplay, you’ll love it.
The main thing in this game is multiplayer, you can set up your own league with like 8 teams, each player having there own team. I think this is better as it gets a bit complicated when you have 4 players on one team. The noises are great too, the screams you get from Peach or DK when you hit them into the electric fence are wiked.
I’d also advise taking the power-ups and bowser attack off when you get a bit further in the game. The power-ups are fine for messing around with your mates, but they are well annoying in single player. The main thing is to turn off the rubbish bowser attacks, they absolutley ruin the game!
This game is a great break from usual football games like Fifa or PES, but hardcore Footballers will not like. Just could do with a few more charecters and pitches. Definate Buy.

Not much more to say except that this game is immense fun, perfectly balanced and simplicity really wins the day.

This new Mario game is like the street game of football called Doccer Soccer. It is great fun. You play a normal game of football inside an electric fence. Other characters are firnig the traditional mario weapons at you. Great fun for all ages.

This has to be the best Mario Sports title on teh ‘Cube. It’s very surprising it doesn’t have the Violence icon on the case, as this game is on quite the violent side, not usually how football is, with wusses falling over and crying because someone tapped them with their little finger.
The game could be improved by having more characters such as Goombas or Shy Guys being able to play on your team, but there is some brilliantly deep gameplay with simple, easy to learn controls, especially for players of EA Sports games.
The only reasons this gets 4 Stars rather than 5 is due to the lack of depth of the single player and lack of options (making Super Strikes worth more or less goals, lack of choice of characters)
Overall this is a brilliant game, ESPECIALLY in multiplayer. Hearing Peaches scream, which actually sounds like she’s in a lot of pain, makes it even better.
