This is one of the best Jigsaw puzzles for young children that I have found. I am a teacher and parent and appreciate that my 2 year old really enjoys this puzzle, and is now able to play independently with it. The design is excellent – it is bright, colouful and very interesting but more importantly there is a significant part of the picture in every piece, so it makes it easy for a young child to recognise and complete. We have other jigsaw’s where many pieces are the same colour, and this quickly loses its charm!
Our child gets so much more fun and satisfaction from this jigsaw as each piece leads clearly on to the next and we have lots of discussion about it – all great for positional language like ‘above, below, beside and next to’ etc colour recognition, size difference and general discussion about the animals and what they are doing. It is very well made and is really durable, and the pieces are just the right size/thickness for smaller hands.
We play with this over and over, it is a favourite in our house.
An educational, fun, well made toy that my child can play independently. Love it!

Great jigsaw, brought this for my sons 3rd birthday and he loves it. Bright colours with lovely picture, the design of the jigsaw makes it easier for the child to understand what piece goes next, part of an animal on each piece. My son is already becoming a bit of a whizz at doing this without help. Definately recommend.

Orchard Toys Who’s In The Jungle? Puzzle
An excellent, colourful jigsaw. The pieces are a suitable size for a 2 year old and durable; the images are bold and full of colour. There are many animals depicted which can elicit any number of questions pertaining to colours, positions, general vocabulary etc. It has proved to be very popular with our 2 year old granddaughter, who will complete the puzzle over and over.

This is a brilliant jigsaw – the colourful pieces are toddler-proof and there is so much detail that each piece gives a clue to what to look for next. My 2.5 yr old who is a keen puzzler can do this one by himself with a bit of verbal prompting, so probably more suitable for the younger end of the age range quoted. Another great buy from Orchard toys!

This is a fantastic puzzle. Its complicated enough to keep a 2-5yr old child interested for at least two months, if not more. Colours are bright and cheerful, and animals are strategically laid out. It is quite durable with a card-board quality, however it will start getting worn out in 3-4 months time.
Overall, an excellent buy considering the price and educational value.
