@matt22mccarthy Actually, the wii came out in 2006, I would have to see how good a re-make of this game would look on wii though, it would look amazing.

It was the second most powerful system in that generation, it was a very capable system. this is one of the many games that looked this awesome. RE4 was another such game, which was also the best looking version in that gen (not counting the Wii version). there is many others.
Yeah it sucks that allot of great game devs are no longer around.
This game is really amazing.. look at how many polygons are onscreen at one time and how detailed everything is, and this was back in the early 2000′s. Even with the gamecube doing a much lower res, it’s still amazing.. and makes me wonder what the 360 and PS3 would be capable of. Unfortunately, Factor 5 (the makers of this game) are out of business. They made some of the best Star Wars games.. love the Rogue series.

For 2002 it’s a game that was ahead of it’s time. Today it’s still really impressive to me.
If only they could port this to the PC and PlayStation 3.

I was wrong, yes it is all flying but I know rogue squadron 3 has lightsaber missions.
